Behavioral Science is the study of human behavior and decision-making, combining insights from psychology, sociology, economics, anthropology and neuroscience. It focuses on understanding why people act the way they do and uses this knowledge to design interventions or strategies to influence behavior effectively. Applied Behavioral Science takes these insights and directly implements them to solve real-world problems, such as improving health outcomes, increasing sustainability, or enhancing employee wellbeing.
I utilize scientifically validated and widely recognized behavior change frameworks that are designed for application across diverse contexts and behavioral challenges. The frameworks I work with integrate numerous well-established behavior change techniques, each proven effective through extensive research and studies.
When tackling a new challenge or behavioral problem I structure my projects according to the following 4 steps based on the Behavior Change Wheel framework.
While I always base my work on scientific findings and evidence-based practices, I recognize that every behavioral challenge is deeply context-dependent. I therefore strive to approach each new project with an open mind, avoiding preconceived notions or categorization. My core strength lies in developing creative solutions to translate scientific insights into practical, cost-effective implementations, even when they initially appear challenging or resource-intensive.
